Initiatives
Initiatives group projects that contribute to a shared goal. Track an owner, target date, and progress updates in one place.
Overview
Open Initiatives in the sidebar to review names, statuses, owners, and target dates. Select a name to open its details.
Create an initiative
- Select New initiative from the list.
- Enter a name and a short summary.
- Select Create.
Set properties
Edit the name and summary in Overview. Use the properties to change status, priority, owner, and target date. Statuses are proposed, planned, active, completed, and canceled.
Add projects
Open a project and select its initiative in the Overview properties. Associated projects appear in the initiative's Projects tab.
Post initiative updates to share progress and health. The detail header also provides favorite, subscribe, and copy URL actions.
Description and resources
The separate Description and Resources sections are currently saved in your browser. They are not shared with other browsers or members. Use updates or comments for progress you want to share.
